“As the Deacon of St Raphael Church in Springfield, Ohio, I have known Tracey Tackett for over 35 years. Tracey integrates her care for her community into everything she does. As a dedicated and proud citizen, Tracey displays a unique awareness of the world around her that is good for her community and is also good for her family and business. Tracey has worked hard on preparing herself to fulfill her demanding roles of wife, mother and small business owner. She has prepared herself professionally at Wittenberg University and in her experience in the business community. Tracey has organized and led many community activities for Clark County. Listening to others she is able to enlist support for these activities from many different members of the community including residents, law enforcement, business and community leaders. As a small business owner she has proven to use limited financial resources wisely. I worked with Tracey on the flowers for the Cancer Center. They brighten the day of those sitting through hours of cancer treatment and also those in our downtown. Tracey involved volunteers from throughout Clark County and helped us to build community as we supported cancer patients and those who care for them.
